Babies in Space is a site maintained by me, Andrew Thompson, a freelance writer in Philadelphia. Mostly it is a collection of works written in other sources that I have formatted to fit the site, but I occasionally publish essays that have no better outlet.

The phrase “Babies in Space” comes from my infancy, when my dad would throw me up in the air, risking my life and limb, while gleefully crying “Babies in Space!” It was needlessly dangerous, but it gave me a great name for a blog.

Please see the pages listed above for my portfolio and resume.
